With humble beginnings, Dr. Kimberly J. Knopf began her career in 1993 as a volunteer Dental Assistant in Arcadia, California. With a love and passion for patients, health and artistry, she completed both a Bachelors and Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California; where she received the USC Golden Hand Award and USC Alumni Association Endowment Awards. She has completed dozens of hours of volunteer dentistry for underprivileged children in communities spanning from Mexicali to Goleta, California for the USC Mobile Dental Clinic. In 2002, USC granted her the Everitt Payne Award for Dental Occlusion and Morphology.
Upon graduation, she began practicing Cosmetic Dentistry in Beverly Hills and almost immediately had a celebrity following; all while teaching at USC as a Clinical Instructor in Operative and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Knopf was an Educator at the USC School of Dentistry for 4 years, before committing all of her time to private practice. She has held memberships with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the California and Los Angeles Dental Societies and Gold Foil Study Club. In collaboration with Colgate, Dr. Knopf was a spokesperson for an educational project called “Colgate Smile Minute” for doctor and patient education via a series of one-minute videos. She also appeared on “Entertainment Tonight” earlier this year, as the Spokesperson of a new organic, preservative/ dye free toothpaste line called Hello! Toothpaste.
